THE KINGS RIVER IS MY HOME RIVER!!!
I love fishing all the great places that the Ozarks have to offer, but out of 150 days on the water each year, I spend 100+ on the Mighty Kings.
I fish every inch, all year long, from above Boatright Creek to the Missouri Border; from the spring runs, into high summer, through the fall bite, and during those short winters days hoping for just one HOG sized smallie to come out for a mid-winter meal.
Floating, wading, or from my jet boat, I let the conditions decide the section and approach.
Smallmouth are my favorite, but I have grown to love targeting every species in the river from fly rod. There is always something to learn from the river, every moment of every day.
I have loved this river from the moment I stepped my toes in the cold water of Rockhouse Creek as a small child, watching as my father loaded canoes for overnight float trips with our family.
The Gravel grinding under my feet, the river wrapping its flow around my legs, the sunshine /rain falling on my face: these are sensations that I will never tire of.
The Kings River is a part of my life’s story, it can be a part of yours too.
Being on the Kings with me isn’t just a fishing trip, it’s an EXPERIENCE.

Multi-species
Smallmouth may be the main event, but other species like Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Gar, Sunfish, and Redhorse Suckers can be targeted or caught as bycatch.
Owner Operator, Jackson Butt, 4th generation Native and Wild son of the Ozarks, has been fishing since he could walk and fly fishing soon after.

Half Day $450
5hrs +$75 additional adults, Kids u15 free
Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night. All relevant fishing/fly fishing gear is provided, just bring appropriate clothing for the time of year/activity and your favorite foods and drinks. Photography/videography of your experience is part of the deal. Food and beverage packages available.
