Doug Riverman Allen- I love the Kings River! My goal is to make your guided fishing trip an enjoyable and memorable event. I have over 40 years of experience fishing on the Kings River. As a fisherman and author of soon to be published, A Riverman’s Guide to the Kings River, rest assured you’re fishing with a expert Kings River smallmouth bass fisherman. All skill levels are welcome. I love to teach folks all the unique qualities about the beautiful Kings River and catching the amazing smallmouth bass. Kids are always welcome and educational float trips or wade trips can be arranged for larger groups. I know every twist and turn of the river and also the best habitat for fish according to the time of year and water level. Water conditions will vary and my job is to help you adapt to those conditions and catch fish. There are several different methods to catching fish and nothing makes me happier than to see a pole bent over with a fighting brownie on one end and a smiling satisfied fisherman on the other. I will do my best to put you on the fish! I encourage you to bring your own rod and reel and your own kayak if that’s more comfortable and familiar to you. We can provide both if needed.
